Municipal Dump Truck for Sale

The Village of Spencer is offering for sale a 2000 International, 4900 series, single-axle dump truck by sealed bid. The truck shows 9715 miles on an odometer replaced several years ago. The miles on the old odometer weren’t recorded when it was changed, but the truck had 53,230 miles on it when we purchased it used in 2012. The truck features a plow, wing, integrated spreader, 285 HP DT 530 engine, Allison automatic transmission, power steering and air brakes.

The truck may be inspected at 608 E Depot Street in Spencer during normal business hours, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please contact Will Garton at 715-574-3185 to arrange a viewing or for additional information.

All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Dump Truck Bid” and delivered in person or by mail to:

Bids must be received by Monday, December 15 at 4:00 p.m. Bids will be opened at that time and be presented to the board for consideration at a meeting later that week, day and time to be determined.

The dump truck is being sold “AS IS,” with no warranties expressed or implied. The Village of Spencer reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Successful bidder will be notified by phone/email.
