It's that time of year again! Leaves can be placed curbside for collection by local contractor Whirlwind Sweeping. They will begin leaf collection later this week or early next week. There is no set schedule for when or how many times they circle the Village. They monitor the volume and make the rounds to provide for as efficient a cleanup as possible. They will notify us in advance of their last cycle through the Village and we will relay that here and on our Facebook page so everyone has an opportunity to complete their cleanup activities.

Remember to place the leaves behind the curb, not in the gutter or on the street. This helps keep at least some of the leaves out of the stormwater catch basins and helps prevent street flooding if we get rain before they are all collected. If your lot does not have a curb, then place the leaves in the gravel shoulder.
